The beauty, wonders and gigantic nature of the Scared Land and other parts of the world, have always been on his thoughts
Until the late 1990s, with encouragement from his wife, he took up the brushes and started his venture into the life of a paint artist. Cephas and his ever-encouraging wife opened a gallery in Singapore and hosted many of China ’s renowned artists and critics. While working with them, he has studied and collected their works. He is greatly influenced and inspired by their techniques, talents and theories. He has also learned to balance the laws of good painting and technique with his creative talent.
His work is deeply rooted in the established themes of nature and human’s relationship to it. His concepts elegantly mesh a traditional eastern style with uninhibited innovation that imbues feelings and understanding in his works. This gives him the confidence to continue exploring new forms of expression.
